10 years of strangers becoming family

Family Code of Conduct

The Fam is joyful because it is protected. Kindness, consent and accountability are not optional. These 10 rules keep the space safe for everyone.

1. Be kind, courteous and respectful โ€” We are all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Treat everyone with respect.
2. No promotions or spam โ€” Festival-related links are welcome. Repetition, scams and noise are not.
3. No hate speech, bullying, discrimination or harassment โ€” The Family is a safe place. Zero tolerance.
4. Announcement channels are mandatory โ€” Leave them and you lose all access. They exist so nobody misses important information.
5. No buying, selling or trading tickets โ€” This protects everyone from scams. Only Admin-supported ticket offers are allowed.
6. Not a marketplace for narcotics โ€” Strictly enforced and monitored daily. Zero exceptions.
7. No sliding into DMs without prior approval โ€” Respect inboxes. No photos, flirting or physical contact without clear approval. Consent is key.
8. Shared media is free for private use โ€” Admins can also grant permission to festivals, with credit. If you want a photo removed, ask an Admin.
9. Introduce yourself within 24 hours โ€” Set your screen name to your real name + country flag. Say hello so the Fam knows you are here.
10. Admins reserve the right to change rules โ€” These rules may be updated at any time without explanation.

Consequences

Breaking these rules means kick from the group, ban from the Fam, invalidation of Fam-bought tickets and cancellation of pre-paid orders.

If something feels wrong

You do not have to handle it alone. If someone makes you uncomfortable, breaks a rule or ignores consent, contact an Admin directly. Screenshot the issue if safe, do not confront someone alone, and trust the Admin decision.
