Going to Sziget alone sounds intimidating. Thousands of people, a huge island, campsites stretching forever, and you with nothing but a backpack and a sense of adventure.

That is exactly where Your Festival Family started.

1. Book your ticket early

Sziget passes sell out. Watch the official site, but also watch the Fam announcement channels. Admins sometimes coordinate group ticket information.

2. Pack like a pro

Bring a tent that can survive wind, a sleeping pad you can actually sleep on, and a refillable water bottle. The island has water stations. Sunscreen, a portable charger, wet wipes and a rain jacket are non-negotiable.

3. Find Base Camp

Do not wander the campsite hoping to bump into us. Check the announcement channels for the exact Base Camp location and look for the wall of flags. Arrive during the move-in window if you can; Fam builders are usually setting up early and happy to point you in.

4. Come to the daily meet

Every day at 15:00 the Fam meets at the Hangout. It is the easiest way to put names to faces, hear the plan for the day and join a group photo.

5. Say yes before you are ready

The best Fam moments come from saying yes to a game, a meal, a walk to a stage or a spontaneous karaoke session. You do not need to know anyone. You just need to show up.
