Some people see the Fam Code of Conduct and think, “That is a lot of rules for a festival group.”

But the rules are not the point. The feeling is the point.

Kindness is the baseline

Rule 1 is simple: be kind, courteous and respectful. Festivals can be overwhelming, especially for solo travelers. The Fam is designed to be the place where you can exhale.

Consent protects the magic

Rule 7 — no sliding into DMs without approval — is not about being cold. It is about making sure everyone feels safe. Consent is the difference between a friendly community and a space where people get burned.

No spam, no scams

Rules 2 and 5 keep the group useful. Festival links are welcome. Random sales, ticket scalping and pyramid schemes are not. We have seen too many people get scammed at festivals.

Shared media is shared trust

Rule 8 means your photos stay your photos for private use, but Admins can also grant festival-use permission with credit. If you want a photo removed, we remove it. No questions asked.

The rules are short because the culture matters. Follow them and the Fam stays the Fam.
